One of the many things I love about living in Denver is the surprising amount of 1950s Mid-Century Modern signage that still survives. I always keep a camera with me as I walk around to document them. It makes my mind drift back to a time when Neal Cassady and Jack Kerouac stalked the streets of Denver hot wiring chrome covered Hudsons and rapped beatific with the manic pulse of Thelonious Monk ringing into the post-war American night.
